A Heavy Weight

I've got a lot going on in my head lately, and not many places to vent. I'm seriously thinking about starting to dump all that out here and maybe try to make some sense of what is going on with me. Stay tuned.

Cruising

In other trip news, I've decided to accept the invitation that was extended to me to join my second family on a cruise in November. As it turns out I've got too much money, so I'm going to start spending some of it.

In March I will be going on a belated Christmas office party here. It seems like a really nice spot. If I happened to have a girlfriend it might even be romantic.

These are both in addition to the trip to New York that I'm planning at the begining of April. Exciting times indeed in the life of Mike.

I *heart* New York

I'm planning a trip to New York at the begining of April leaving Thursday april 5th and coming back the following sunday. Here is the itinerary assuming I can get tickets to all the events.

April 5th:
Leave Montreal in the AM
Check in at hotel in Time Square
Montreal Canadiens @ New York Rangers 7PM

April 6th:
Sight Seeing (Statue of Liberty, UN, Empire State Building, etc)
Avenue Q 8PM (Suit up!)

April 7th:
Baltimore Orioles @ New York Yankees 1PM
New York nightlife (try not to get shot)

April 8th:
Return to Monreal

Back to work, making money is good. Hoping to land a new job soon if my buddy Eric can come through for me, a job in construction project management no less. :D Wish me luck!

So people are reviewing their past year. You can review my year by reading my post starting January 2006 and ending in December the same year... there aren't enough to sumarize. Alls I got to say is that while it wasn't what I hoped it would be, it was okay. It's all leading to something as they say... Besides it leaves room for improvement, they can't all be the best year EVAR!1!!11!!! You know, like this year is going to be. ;)

Also while I proudly proclaim to be a geek, I'm not nearly as bad the guys on Beauty and the Geek... though I almost wish I were just to be on the show and hook with one of those hot models. Maybe, just maybe, it's time to get my mom to make me a Star Trek uniform.

New Year's Eve 2006

They say that the way you spend New Year's Eve sets the tone for how you spend the new year. In that case, well my friends shouldn't count on seeing a lot of me in 2007 because apparently I'll be sleeping, see you in 2008... maybe.
